STATEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING AND AGREEMENT TO TERMS:
As the parent of this applicant, we are hereby submitting her application for approval by the State Miss Nebraska Sparklers Coordinator and Executive Directors. We agree to always conduct ourselves professionally so as not to embarrass our daughter or the Miss Nebraska Organization. We will ensure that our daughter will always properly conduct herself. We further understand that it is at the sole discretion of the State Coordinator and Executive Directors when an invitation will be extended to attend various activities with the local titleholder, including the extent of involvement of the Sparklers in the production numbers at the state competition. The director’s decision will be based in whole or in part on whether the function is age-appropriate and how beneficial it is to the mentoring process of the girls as well as other production factors regarding the Sparklers participation in production numbers. We understand it is not a competition but one of a mentoring and learning process conducted by the Miss Nebraska Organization and agree to abide by all decisions made by the Miss Nebraska Organization relative to the Sparklers Program. We acknowledge receipt of and agree to all terms of the General Rules and Suggestions: Percepts of Conduct; Infraction of Rules & Percepts of Conduct; and the Hold Harmless Agreement included in the Official Miss Nebraska’s Sparklers Manual.
